OT: Need Happy thoughts and wishes!

Hi all,

Well this has been a very tough week for me, and it is only half

over.

Monday when my husband and i got home from work we found our house

had been broken into. they took my jewelry, x-box, cameras, movies

and such. i can replace the cameras and movies and all that but the

jewelry, how do you replace a locket that my parents gave to me as a

baby? most of the jewelry taken is stuff that just had sentimental

value, there was my engangement ring and pearls that my grandmother

gave me as well. but i am more upset that they took my memories, i

know that i will always have the memories but sometime seeing a

certain thing reminds me of an event or a person, and i can never

get that back!

the police told us to mark our valuables, get an engraver and put an

identifying mark on everything and also to keep all the serial

numbers so there would be a chance that the police could find it

when they go through the pawn shops and such. so i just wanted to

let all you know to try to go through your house and engrave

everything and to take down serial numbers.

tuesday my mother-in-law went in to have a hysterectomy and had

complications from the anastesia so we are not sure how she is doing

now.

if you could all just keep me and my family in your thoughts that we

can make it through this and not have anything else happen, i would

really appreciate it.
