Guest guest
Jen, I'm so sorry for the loss of your property, and for being so violated. I hope they recover your property! For you and others, I wanted to suggest that it would also be a good idea to video tape your whole house, including inside closets, in case of fire. That would help jog a memory when claiming losses. Also, here is a website that offers a home inventory software. We have been doing this type of thing at home for quite awhile. Lastly, I would suggest making a copy of the inventory, and then putting it in a safe deposit box, or fireproof safe, or giving someone you trust a copy. http://www.contactplus.com/products/freestuff/mystuff.htm Love Lana
Guest guest
Jan, Make a list of all the jewelry that was stolen. The most likely place it will turn up is in a pawn shop. Take copies of the list to all the pawn shops in your area and ask them to contact the police if anyone brings in any of your items. Bring a copy of your police report in case the pawn shop wants to see it. -Barb
