Guest guest
Hi, Just wondering what brand of zinc and magnesium every one uses that's keto friendly. And what doses do you give for a 30 lb almost 5 year old? Thanks, Heidi, future occupational therapist and single mom to (IS, Severely/Multiply Impaired, Ketokid since 12/03) and twin brother, (4 years), and big sis Madison (6). Guest guest
's calcium is prescription, 1.25g I think. Just calcium. I supplement it up to 100% of recommended on the back of her multivitamin (it has some magnesium and zinc), as the multivitamin doesn't have enough. I am needing to do it for zinc, too. Her constant constipation ended when I did this. Others have said to keep supplementing magnesium and upping it gradually until the constipation ends. For her, it seems that what I am doing is working, but if she binds up I will add more. She has had hair loss and zinc is important to supplement. I was timid with zinc, but the neuro showed me guidelines, and I will go to 100% there and maybe a bit higher. and others supplement with magnesium to counter constipation, and shared this in past posts.... , 's mumma lloydandleslie@... wrote: I am curious about how much cal mag zinc should be getting now. He is almost seven, weighs 45 and is 46 inches tall. Will this cause contipation and should I give extra magnesium on top of the Miralax? He is very easily constipated these days.
