Guest guest
I agree with you that Stevia has a distinct taste, although since we have (out of necessity) cut out real sugar from our own diets, I think our taste buds are willing to accept just about anything--ha. And now, flax seed oil. How's that for a jump? But since you appear to be a night owl like myself--wondering if you use this. We use an organic cold pressed flax seed oil that we use exclusively to bump up the fat content of 's meals by adding it directly to her cream with a drop or two of Stevia and Bickford's chocolate flavor--the nutty flavor of the flax oil makes the whole drink taste kinda like a chocolate malt--we entice by calling it her " Scooby Shake " . I'm a bit relieved she's accepting it as it has the essential fatty acids in it. And on another tanget, also tried adding the Bickford orange flavor in lieu of the chocolate flavor to give her an orange cream soda (she doesn't like carbonated drinks, so diet orange soda is out for us)--tasted good to me--haven't tried it with flax oil added yet though. Hope all is going well in your household. is still seizure free and we're down 2 depakote pills! A third scheduled to be dropped on Monday--here's hoping! ne > I was using stevia for a while, after 2 false starts that is - on my first > attempt I found out the powder I bought contained maltodextrin, 2nd attempt > was the liquid with the grapefruit seed extract, 3rd time lucky was the pure > powdered form. > wasn't really having that much food variety back then though, so > there wasn't much need for any sweetner in his meals.
