Guest guest
Better is good Emma.....def better than not improving at all.... How long after a meal was that 4.1 in both readings? We have had the same readings for both bhb and glucose now and then too, not lately mind you, but have done so in the past. When was at the peak of the catabolic screw up, he was having ones like glucose AND bhb of 5.0 and above, esp in the evenings, but it eventually worked itself out. Hope the night wasn't toooo bad, and that you managed some sleep? ----- Original Message ----- From: ketomum68 is okay - better than he was but still not great. Anyway did a reading this evening whereby both s glucose and ketones were up high - matching each other at 4.1 - this is a first for us. He then had a seizure and I had to give him rectal valium as it was his forth one this evening. Again he was really sweaty and clammy and had really sweaty hands this evening - this clammy/sweaty hands is becoming a regular feature if is having a rough night or is going to have a rough night. Glucose high/ketones low - either too many or too few calories. Ketones very high - possible ratio change/calories again. But both high? What is that all about? Good luck to you as well with Langans wean - I really hope things go well for you guys. Lots of love, Emma (I need matchsticks to keep my eyes open) - mum to .
