HI and Satnam,

First of all, I hope things are still going well for . I

hope more seizure free days have followed since Wednesday.

I was really struck by our recent correspondence. I rememeber

feeling so worried and alone when Ethan was on high medication and

things just kept getting worse. It was such a frightening time.

Now, to have connected with you two, and others on in this group,

and to realize many of us went through the same thing is just

incredible.

This is just another example of how we all understand eachother in

this group. Satnam, you didn't even have to mention how devestating

it must have been when 's seizures returned after 5 months.

We have all been through those dashed hopes. Another reaction I

don't get from this group, and I am really glad, is the

overwhellming sense of sympathy some people extend when they learn

of our struggles. It is just so nice to understand and to be

understood without having to spell everything out, or to see

disheartening looks of pity.

Though we have our share of sadnesses, I think most of us tend to

look on the bright side of things, to notice the times our kids

smile, etc. Others might look at our lives and just see the

struggles; but we have learned to find joy and happiness in the

midst of it all. I am so greatful for finding you all!
