If so, I'm trying to figure out if I need to have my son's eyes checked more than one time. We saw a pediatric ophthalmologist when he was 5 months old that I was unimpressed with. He said Ethan's eyes looked fine and that we'd never have to worry about anything in the future. There isn't much information out there about CMV however and I feel like there is still a chance that he could develop problems so I'm having them checked again. He's now 10 months old. Am I just paranoid? The hearing loss with CMV is progressive, so why wouldn't the eye problems be as well? - Quote
