Guest guest
Janet, I am so sorry that you are having such terrible problems with your teeth and infections. I know what you mean about the pain when you hit your foot or any affected area it feels like you broke something, I had a light bulb drop on my left foot and I could hardly walk on it for days, my thoughts (oh no Lin's thinking run for the hills) on this is your nerves are already on overload that any other outside influence causing them to go into overdrive, so that is what I think for what it's worth. Okay I take 30mg of Methadone 3 times a day, and roxicodone 15mg for breakthrough pain. The last 3 days my left leg has felt like it is on fire too. Hope this helps, Lin -- Re: Dawn - meds Lin & Lori: Hi! I was wondering how much of the Methadone do you take daily? I am on 40 mgs tablets, and I take 4 to 5 daily. I agree this has helped me alot with my pain, but no matter what there are days when no matter how much medicine I take the horrible burning pain never goes away!!! Of course, I just did a stupid thing yesterday and hit my left foot into a chair. I can hardly walk today because of it. It feels like I broke my toes, they are so swollen. I also take Loracet 325 mgs for my break-thru pain for the RSD. Last week I woke up to a very swollen face and almost my eye was shut. I have been having a horrible infection in my body due to teeth problems. I have to have them out, because they have all broken off and into my gums. I am scared to death on this, because I am afraid I will get RSD in my mouth, does that sound stupid to you? Probably it is, but I am still scared. I had to have a CT scan on my face, because my doctor thought my sinus cavity was also infected. I had to have 4 shots and two heavy duty antibiotics, because I am the one that can't fight infections, I have no spleen. Which makes it harder for me to heal from surgeries and diseases. This has been a horrible year for me!!! I hope you all are having less pain tonight. Janet
