Not too sure , when 's fecal fat test (uh huh, really

pleasant one to get done..) came back as ok, I never went much

further with the why's and how's.

It is pretty unlikely there is anything like that going on, but it

is all I can think of. How have his fat soluble vitamin levels been -

ie, Vit A D and E? If there is a fat absorption/metabolism problem

going on these usually show as deficient, this is why we went down

that path of testing - couldn't get the levels up in a good range

despite a heap of supplementing.

Mebbe a carnitine issue? If too deficient, short and long term fats

might not be metabolising properly?

Not sure whose speciliaty this would be - gastroenterologist I

guess? If anything were to show up as a problem, I presume digestive

enzymes perhaps as a treatment if it was nothing like a carnitine

involved?
