I know that even with the letter, I ended up having to have a full body frisk at the airports....They wouldn't settle with just waving a wand over me between the SCS and the catheter/pump. ly, my body saw more action in those few days than it had in years (OK...so that's the real reason I scheduled another trip). Terrific news, Jai. Barbara Hi Barbara, thanks for the tips, I would hate to get to the airport and get held up for something that I should have taken care of. I am so excited, I need this so bad. It has been hell since 1999. So many surgeries hospitals, doctors, complications etc. I am sure you all understand. I have not had any kind of vacation since the RSD started. I travel between FL and MD frequently because I live in FL but my main docs are all in MD. Gets confusing at times but I am used to it by now. Seems like I have been spending more time In, MD then at home. It is OK with me since all of the devastation with the hurricanes. Thank God where I live was relatively untouched. My heart and prayers go out to all that were impacted by the hurricanes. The only thing about MD is that it gets so cold!! I have Raynaud's so it really flares up in MD. Thanks again for the well wishes, I am glad that you are able to travel and take your mind off of all of the problems. Like you said, you just want to go where no one knows your name and just escape for a while. I am mostly excited to see my friend. He is the best friend anyone could ever have. He has helped me so much with the RSD, always willing to take me to appointments, he has spent countless hours with me in the hospital, he has been by my side throughout everything. He has helped me through the lowest depths of depression. He Is in Iraq now and I worry everyday for him and keep him and all of our troops in my prayers. You take care, Love Jai
