Welp, as I said, I'm back from the great siuthern states. Man alive do they need

to turn down the thermostat down there. Thought I was like to die. Anyway.. a

good time was had by all. I still haven't downloaded the pictures from the

camera yet but I promise more pics soon. Now on to the doc visit we had today

about the diet.

For the past month or so and then increasingly on vacation, was having

more and more seizures. Pre diet, he would have one a week and only while

sleeping. The last 3 weeks if it wasn't every day, it was every other. I talk ed

a lot today to the dietitian about s growth (and the fact that he wasn't

having any) and the fact that the poor kid didn't poop but once every 12 days.

He wasn't constipated mind you, when it did finally come it was normal. He just

didn't. We decided to ween the diet starting today. I think the final straw was

when he had a day, the only day mind you in the last 2 months, with really low

ketones (someone fed the poor bugger) and he didn't have a seizure but when he

got back up to 80+, he had 5 days in a row with them. I know a lot of you have

had tremendous luck with the diet and I'm glad. is just the other end of

the spectrum. I had such hopes. Anyway, I'll stick around since I have some good

recipies and cookbooks and the like. Just thought you should know.

Maybe you just need some fine-tuning; in this case increase calories.
