I might be talked out of going with my husband and going with the girls instead of there's going to ge four of us from the DC contingent going. Just give me about 15 min. to pack my suitcase...or ten, I can travel light. But, living here in CT, it's not that easy to just hop a plane and get down there. I think I'll have to wait until just prior to surgery. Christa Re: office visit Oh, and not it is not too early to schedule a clinic visit. I was at the same stage you are when I scheduled my clinic visit. And, if you are able to (proximity wise) I think doing clinic earlier is a good thing because you learn a lot, can meet contacts, and you get a lot of questions answered.
