Guest guest
Down the page a bit - taken by the paper released by Hopkins as a guide for pediatricians, they give the normal glucose range on the keto diet as running in the 60's. In NZ values this equates to 3.3 - 3.8. This isn't from one of their finetuning guides or anything, as far as I am aware Hopkins at this point to not use glucose testing as a finetuning method, it is just letting peds know that this is the usual BS range. What Every Pediatrician Should Know About the Ketogenic Diet from Contemporary Pediatrics Posted 06/03/2003 M. Freeman, MD Blood glucose usually runs in the 60s (mg/dL), and that level is well tolerated. Ketones in the urine should be 3+ or 4+.
