I took my Trazadone, Vicodine, and my crazy pill and still can’t sleep. What should I do? I read my book, pet the dog in bed. Put the dog in his bed, shut out the light, went potty. What else? Guest guest Posted April 12, 2004 Report Share Posted April 12, 2004 Hi Cheryl, I think insomnia is just part of Lupus.....Im just coming off a 24hr. sleepless marathon .....I am however on prednisone .Sometimes I sleep just fine......then I get a spell of insomnia.......it can drive you nuts......if you aren't already there. Guest guest Posted April 12, 2004 Report Share Posted April 12, 2004 Cheryl - I am the same way. When I'm in a flare all I do is sleep and when I get better I can't sleep at all. I only slept 2 hours last night. SO I take something to make me sleep and I oversleep making my daughter late for school. I used to get panic attacks real bad at night but since being diagnosed 2 1/2 years ago and taking all these meds...they stopped. AND IF YOU HAD MOST WONDERFUL DOCTOR UP YOUR WAY....THEN MAYBE YOU TOO WOULD GET THESE YELLOW BABIES...300 MG NEURONTIN TAKE 1-3 CAPSULES @ BEDTIME... YEA.. LIKE ANYONE NEEDS TO TAKE 3. I TOOK ONE AND SLEPT THROUGHT SATURDAY AND SUNDAY OF LAST WEEK. THOSE LITTLE BEAUTY ARE THERE FOR WHEN I CAN'T SLEEP OR HAVE 2 DAYS TO WAKE UP.
