Amy Oxford, Leader Southern Illinois Lupus Support www.southernillinoislupus.com Subject: Lupus Education Seminar Dear Friend: The first free seminar in the Lupus Foundation of Illinois’ 2004 “Focus on Lupus” Education Series will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2004 from 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in North Central College’s Larrance Academic Center, located at 309 School Street in Naperville, Illinois. Seminar presentations will include: “Living with Chronic Illness – Cognitive Changes and Coping Strategies,” by Dr. Sam Rest from MacNeal Hospital; “Lupus and the Blood – The Lupus Anticoagulant,” by Dr. , a clinical pharmacist from Medical Group #9; “My Journey with Lupus,” by Jean , model, actress, and lupus advocate; and “Curves – The Power to Amaze Yourself,” by Lili ez, Curves manager. Refreshments and sign-in will begin at 9:00 a.m. at Heininger Auditorium in the Larrance Academic Center.
