Guest guest
Hi Carol, I'm a new member too, welcome! Lupus is such a scary thing, this is a great group to belong to, everyone is so nice and supportive and full of great information!!! About your choices to take drugs or not to, it is such an individual decision and such a hard one too, I completely understand. I've chosen the natural route and have a lot of success with it. Recently, I've contemplated using drugs because I've been so desperate but just yesterday I actually just realized that my recent flares are a result of the acupuncture I've been trying as been antidoting the effects of the homeopathic remedies I had been taking. For you and for anyone that is interested, homeopathy has been amazing for me. I've been using it consistently for 3 years now and it has controlled my arthritis, mouth sores, pleurisy, lymph node swelling, frequent infections, brain fog/numbness and numerous other things that we are often afflicted with. It also helps me with my crazy anxiety about me health that I feel so often and makes me feel happier inside. It is definitely not the cure all as I have yet to find a remedy for my extreme fatigue but I have hope ... I have soooo much respect for everyone dealing with this debilitating disease and choosing whichever healing method works for them. I hope that nobody takes this post in the wrong way like I'm pushing these therapies. After all, we are all so individual and need to be treated as such. I have just found something that works for me....(I also do colon therapy and try to follow a special diet, although the chocolate sneaks in there way too much!) If you have *any* questions, I would be more than happy to answer them. Healing wishes, Asha
