For the ladies who are bemoaning their dirty houses...I have learned to live with clutter, but not dirt.

So, my boys were trained by me that if I had to remind them to pick up after themselves more than

once, their stuff went into the "Saturday bag or basket", and they couldn't have the use of it until

the following Saturday. I stuck to that, so now that they are older, it only takes one request, or it

goes in the trash. I really don't care if it's expensive or not, and they know it, so they rarely leave

things out for long.

Also, in my area there are several youth employment agencies, colleges, and high schools where you

can get weekly help at minimum wage, and the kids get school credit for it. In home help is expensive

if you go through an agency, but if you can use a teenager for most of it, why not? They get the

work experience, you get the tax deduction, and you get the help you need without the hassle.

And, in the end, if you learn to love dust bunnies, and mold colonies in your fridge, you will be much

happier. After all, company doesn't come to see your house, they come to see YOU. If they are

there to look at what you do or don't have in your home, they are not your friends...are they? LOL

Loving hugs, MM
