That is something I no longer put up with. He knows it would be the end of us if he takes a drink again. We drank together for the first two years we were married. What hell! I told him it's me or the bottle, pick one! I had a good job at the time and wasn't sick like I am now. It is better for both of us to stay away from that stuff for good. He is bi-polar and causes all kinds of havoc because of it. That is enough for me to deal with, believe me. I sure hope his counseling and church help you both. Good wishes and Love

My boyfriend is an alcaholic(sp). Right now he is in classes and has been going to AA meetings and back to church. When I first met him 15 years ago he wasn't drinking. He has fallen off the wagon a few times and has lost alot of good jobs from drinking. This last time he lost his license, he was a school bus driver and drove for a medical company, lost his jobs and I really didn't think he was going to come back from this one. He has been sober about a month now. It's been really hard on him and we won't even go where it has taken me.
