Yep, I saw it , but my 2 cents isn't much help here, cos I usually head

straight to for help on any acidity/alkalinity stuff :)

Is Jess still taking any acidic inducing meds ? Brain fog here....

- not sure on Langan at all, we have never had anything like what you

guys are seeing - went into ketosis really really easily when he started

the diet, perhaps in hindsight a little toooooo easily (we were busily fasting

him when unbeknownst to us, a weekend of lowish carbs already had him at 16 +

urine ketones, so we overshot the mark bigtime, live and learn...) but nothing

as extreme as what Madame Langan is up to....

I'm sure there will be an answer, possibly related to how she metabolises

carbs somewhere along the line, but I wouldn't have a clue why, or what it

means.

I guess you now sit and wait for your call to the Docs to be answered, and see

what they have to make of it, as we do....:)

Hmmm. These kids never make it simple, do they?? How long has she

been off keto now? Could you be seeing the effects of the wean in

the bicarbs but still not all the way there with the acidity? Did

you have pre-diet blood gasses? (We didn't- ugh. Kicking myself).

I usually rely on you and for all this complicated stuff, so

maybe will see this and throw in her two cents!!

And I know exactly what you mean about not being able to let go of

this group. It has been such an amazing support to us, and I have

made so many friends here. Plus, if I can share just a little of

what I have learned with the new parents then I'll feel like I am

giving back to the group that kept us above water. And, of course, I

have to check in on all my favorite kids!!!
