There are two orthos at CIRS but Trish is the only one that handles the

STARbands. That is who we see for our treatment and she has been great. We

were having some minor fit issues and she even offered to stop by our house

on the way home from work to check it out :>) When we were having some

major fitting issues she took the initiative to order us a new band at no

cost to us. The price quote you got was correct, $2,800. Who is your

insurance with?

I called CIRS and tried to know more about the orthotists there. I was

told that there are two orthotists in oakland office. The one I talked

to is Trish. She started to do helmets at CIRS last year and had seen

~100 babies already. The price quote I got is $2800. I pay from my

pocket first, then I need to ask Insurace for refund.

Can you let me know which orthotist do you see for your baby's

treatment? Thanks much for sharing the useful info!
