Guest guest
Hi Karol...I had asthma so bad today, I did not go into campus. It is okay cause I was born with it...it is just very hard when it is sustained. I do not like to have an attack in front of the kids cause kids do not understand what is wrong and they get scared and cry. Some adults do not understand what is wrong and they question me...like I can answer their questions when I am gasping for air...lol...they mean well though. We did not have a cold winter down here so we are gonna have skeeters coming out of our wazoo down here...we had many deaths from west nile down here last year...and many, many cases...we did not let the kids outside for recess on many days last year cause they were so bad. Better to be safe, than sorry. Thanks Karol for answering my post. chippy
Guest guest
Hi Chippy, Sorry to hear about your asthma. I can't say I know what it's like having that. I had bronchitis once so bad I quit smoking because of it. Not being able to breath really scared me! I can understand why your kids would be afraid for you if you couldn't breath. I had a friend who's little girl had an asthma attack everytime she came to my house. I finely figured out why. I had two Cockatiels that were her trigger. I loved my birds but I found a new home for them because I wanted my friend to be able to come over with her little girl. Chippy don't your have skeeters "up the wazoo" anyway no matter what kind of winter you have? With all the bayous in La. I would think it's the perfect breeding ground for tons of mosquitoes! Let's hope West Nile isn't as bad this year. We can do without that! Have a great day! Karol karol Hi Karol...I had asthma so bad today, I did not go into campus.
