I went to the NSG last Wed. and he said I have a mild chiari (is there any such thing as a mild chiari?) anyway, he said he was baffled by some of my symptoms w/this and said he knows my ins.co. doesn't like them to refer out but he may want to refer me for a second opinion, he mentioned Mayo in ville, FL. He wanted to get with my neurologist first and find out what kind of blood work she had done to see if there was any other blood work he might want. He would get back with me. I liked him because he is willing to refer me for a second opinion. I am still taking depakote 2x/day and neurontin at bedtime. If anyone has any thoughts or comments, please write me back. Thanks.
