Re: Hi all... back from vacation

Happy New Year everyone!

I'm back from my trip home to the beautiful Philadelphia suburbs. Had

the most wonderful time. Saw all my friends and family. We had a huge

party for my baby sister's 21st birthday. I also saw my brother's new

house, as it is nearly finished being built. We were spoiled rotten by

my parents and other families members, loaded down with kisses and gifts.

I truly wish I could move back home. *sobs*

Can't say I did good on my eating, in fact, I did very poorly. I'm

trying desperately to get back my old motivation. I am going to try to go

back to individual emails and pray I don't start bouncing again. I do

hate digest form and I think it had a bit to do with my loss of

motivation. I used to post constantly when I could post to individual

emails. So I'll try and see what happens. I will go back to weighing in

on Fridays as I did in the past. This Friday will be scary for sure! I

did manage to convince my mother that we wanted NO holiday goodies to

take home with us. She always packs our car with enough stuff to last a

week. I stuck to my guns and only accepted a few apples and clementines

for our trip, and a case of water. 18 hours later when we crossed the

Alabama border, I reached into the glove compartment and found a $100

bill. I called Mom to ask how the hell it got in there. She said she

felt guilty that we wouldn't accept any goodies to take home. I told her

I was going to put it in my spring clothing fund when all my clothes

would (hopefully) be too big.

Hugs *pom-pom shakes* to all those who managed to maintain and even lose

weight over the holidays! And a huge welcome *hug* to all the newbies.

I look forward to reading all your posts and getting to know you better,

as well as catching up with all my old friends here. Hope everyone had a

lovely holiday and that we are all ready to get back to work on our goals

and healthy lifestyles.
