Guest guest
Hi every one Just a quick question regarding low carb drinks. We're trying to get Amelie off aspartame and saccarin based juices and other than water on its own which she hates we can't find a good alternative. The other possibility would be concentrate fruit juice watered down however we can't find any with low carbs. Have any parents found a suitable alternative. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated best wishes Adam
Guest guest
Hi there, we use diluted herbal teas which stella loves either hot or as iced tea. You can also sweeten with stevia (natural 0 calorie alt sugar substitute)There are a few diet soda drinks on the market with splenda although we cannot use those as stella has a seizure reaction to splenda. but those are diet hansons, diet pepsi and diet jones soda. We also use the smart water which has extract added and is 0 carb, interesting flavours too, be careful the vitamin ones have high carb content so read the labels on those. amanda Mom to Stella, age 51/2, started keto diet May 10th 2004. On lamictal and diamox, just weaned diazepam (yippeee). Still waiting for Stella to be seizure free, but she's doing much better. Failed every med available. Next is the VNS. Also, Anisa age 10, healthy, vibrant, beautiful and a wonderful big sis.
