Methotrexate and edema

Hi everyone...I don't post much but I read all the emails. Some make

me laugh and some make me sad, but I feel I am finally getting to

know all of you a little bit. Anyway, I have been having a problem

for the past 2 wks with ankle and feet swelling. I started taking MTX

at the end of Dec. My Rheum doc is going up on the dose very slowly

and cutting my Prednisone down at the same time (trying to get me off

steroids) Last week I noticed that I got swelling after the once a wk

dose. It went away a couple days later after I took a diuretic. Now

this wk I took the 5 pills again Thursday night and now my lower legs

having pitting edema from my knees to my toes. Has any of you ever

had this. I cut out salt, lowered my fluid intake, taking the

diuretic and have elevated my legs which is sorta helping. I see the

doc on Wed. I worry about my kidneys. What do you guys think?

whipping guess this (sle) is hers and my mom not affected but girl

the way she has been acting lately I might just go shake my hand over

her! whatever falls off she keepss hahaha I hope you feel better soon
