Guest guest Posted July 8, 2004 Report Share Posted July 8, 2004 Luke is doing great, he no longer wears his helmet! Even playing outside on the concrete or blacktop, no helmet! This is a HUGE victory in itself!! But, on Saturday night, he had 2 tonic clonics in his sleep, the first one was small, but the second one was 4 mintes. Yesterday morning he had a small one that I saw, but he slept in 2 hours later than he ever has. (I'm wondering if I just missed one), then when he finally did get up, he was very grumpy! Now, this morning, he had another tonic clonic, lasting a good 3 minutes. It's strange because he never had tc's in his sleep before we began the diet......I am phoning the neuro, but need opinions here first! He is on a small ratio...2.5:1, his ketones are moderate....I have changed nothing....my only other thought is possible ear infection? I took her to the pediatrician and don't you know it....beginning of an ear infection! The last time this happened, it was the flu and she was hospitalized for a week. When we see seizures breakthrough like this, it usually means that he is coming down with something. Keeping fingers crossed for you.
