Guest guest
I wonder if thats like an " internist " , I have never quite figured out exactly what their specialty is but sounds kind of like what you are saying.....nope, I know of no such creature in the pediatric world. Perhaps ask him what it counterpart is called pediatrically (is that a word?? LOL) BTW anyone know what an internist does? & Hill wrote: > On the diagnosing note.... > I went to a specialist yesterday about the thyroid/lupus business > hanging over me, referred there by my surgeon, and I asked this guy > 'exactly what IS your speciality??' Guest guest
Oh yes, I have heard that term internist, but it is not the description we use here, I think you are right though, same sort of thing. Hmm - maybe a general pediatrician is supposed to take their place then in the kiddie's world? I know there is some sort of ped specialist at one of the hospitals in the US who specialises in difficult to diganose cases (not just restricted to neuro), but can't remember where he was based or what his name was....lol, well that was a lot of help wasn't it...we were going to seriously look at heading over there to see him if the diet didn't help , but that was over 3 yrs ago so all a bit fuzzy memory wise. PS - pediatrically works for me, I'll have to borrow that one... ----- Original Message ----- From: mmc@...
