Guest guest
Satnam- I am smiling big for you. I can imagine how you must be feeling to see these improvements. Thanks so much for sharing. And kudos' to Kristan, she's doing a fantastic job!!! , mom to Ethan Kristan is able to sit independently! Hi all, I just wanted to share that since the end of June Kristan is able to sit on her own for an hour or two. She is always trying to balance herself and is wiggling while sitting but can pretty much hold it real well with her back straight and all. When she tips over she doesn't know how to get back up, but does try to lift her head and trunk and isn't strong enough to come all the way up. She also is using her voice more now so we have commenced speech therapy, she mostly does " hmm " " um " and my favourite " ma " . She still won't reach for toys and still has vision problems but has recently started to track food - this kid won't track any toys, but will track her food, at least it's something that has interested her. The seizures are up again and we are still in the process of raising calories and was doing well with solid meals but lately has only wanted to bottle feed. Anyways, just thought I would share some good news. Satnam, mom to Kristan, 19 months Keto kid since August 2003 " The Ketogenic Diet....a realistic treatment option, NOT just a last resort! Guest guest
Satnam, Wonderful news. Isn't it great when they call you 'ma' for the first time? calls me 'mum mum' - I waited nearly 9 years for that - I didn't stop crying for about 4 days! Really hope the seizures calm down. Take care and good luck. Emma - mum to , keto-kid since July 2002, starting a wean off now!
