Guest guest
Buy gluten free playdough from: http://www.discountschoolsupply.com/Product/ProductDetail.aspx? product=7566&mlc= It is a huge tub of playdough in 8 colors. I bought one specifically for my daughters preschool class and all the kids just use it. Much easier than making it and much easier than not allowing your daughter play with it like the other kids. Guest guest
Laurel, I make play dough for my daughter to take to preschool. Each month they use a different color, so I use kool aid powder to tint it that color. Gatorade powder works well, too. Lily thinks this is so much fun, she gets to add the color to it. Even though the teacher tries really hard to make sure none of the other children touch hers, inevitably someone does, so we throw it away and take in new. One batch makes quite a bit. Good Luck!! Guest guest
I'm glad it's going pretty well so far. My daughter started preschool also this week and I understand fully the trials and tribulations you are dealing with (and she's not even the Celiac!). Hang in there, it does get easier (my kindergarten has the routine down pat). And personally I think Play-doh is the work of the devil It was one of the bonuses of my diagnosis that I could tell my kids that I couldn't play with it any more! Now they have to bug Daddy -- WOW!
