Guest guest
I used to smoke at least a pack and a half a day for at least 30 years. I practiced quitting for probably five years. Then I got a really bad case of bronchitis......so bad that it hurt to put even the slightest bit of pressure on my chest. That scared the bejesus outa me and I quit smoking......cold turkey! That was February 1, 2000. My husband still smokes but it doesn't bother me. I finely made up my mind I wasn't going to smoke anymore and that was that! Hubby smokes outside and I appreciate that.....I can't stand the smell anymore! Funny how my sense of smell is so much more acute since I quit. Hugs... Karol Re: To Deanna Re: Smoking CAN trigger Lupus (Deanna!!) You tell her!!! I've tried to quit 3 times now. I currently only smoke from 2 to 6 ciggies a day. I do not smoke in front of hubby and this helps a lot. (He quit 22 years ago and can't understand what's wrong with me.) LOL barb
