She was on 30 mg/day and we were to alternate 30 mg one day 15 mg the next for a month. We just switched to 15 mg everyday on 12/11. She has been sick at least every other week (she would do this regardless of weaning anyway) There is a new seizure that has presented twice and both times we had to use diastat. Today I used it again to break the cycle. She is also gaing about 6-7 ounces a week since the begininng of the wean. My reason for posting was sometime last fall there were a lot of posts on phenobarbital weans and I can't seem to find them. Does anyone know where they are or can you share your experience with your weans? Our next drop is in another month and it would be 15 mg every other day and then to stop. We may have to switch to liquid. (I'm trying to avoid this because my daughter HATES liquid meds and swallows pills just fine) TIA ~ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I don't know if this will help in your search (and sorry if you've already tried this!), but if you go to the actual yahoo board and put " phenobarbital " in the Search Archives, it will pull up all the posts on the ketogenic board with that word in it.
