I am on Lexpro. I have been having

terrible depression. I am having terrible family problems. My husband is

bi-polar and had a psychotic episode and caused a big family stink. Now they

hate us. I am ill with systemic lupus, arthritis, osteoporoses, degenerative

disk disease, TMJ dysfunction, fibromyalgia, & beguine familial tremor. I

had a small stroke 7 years ago and survived cancer. I have trouble thinking

and remembering. I have been on permanent disability for 7 years now. I just

had my gallbladder out in January and am still recovering. I am real tired.

My husband has a sinus infection. Before

my surgery, I vomited uncontrollably for hours on end all night and into the

morning with horrible cramping. It went on for 2 years. The last year it

happened once a month. Right before surgery it happened 2 weeks apart. My

husband thought I might have a stroke due to the pressure extreme vomiting puts

on your brain. He was nuts with worry. We had no insurance. I have medi-care

but I still have to pay over $1000.

My husband has had about 16 jobs in the

25 years since we have been married. The fact that I can’t work has put

a lot of pressure on us both and he holds up pretty well considering his illness.

I am not sure Lexpro is helping. I have had to undergo such family stress

this last whole year! I cry a lot. I am going to see the Dr again Monday

& talk.

I would like to know if any here have tried Lexapro an

antidepressant? I try to read all the posts. I had to quit my job a month ago

after 14 yrs. working with battered women. The office politics were a million

times worse than the counseling. I had to take a job working with at risk youth

and families. I also need the insurance. I barely have any energy. Requesting

prayers for my Mom.
