Hi Barb,

I think everyone is probably impatient for spring, don't cha think. Winter can be so depressing. So you're a golfer. Were you able to play last year? Do you and your husband play together? I have never played the game but I bet it's nice spending time on a beautifully kept up golf course. Some of them are so pretty.

Speaking of flower beds.....I have just about gotten rid of all of mine. I had six huge beds but I wasn't up to keeping them nice so I have had to allow them to grow over with grass. Right now I'm trying to rake up all the leaves that are falling. We have huge live oak trees in our front yard which are dropping their leaves right now and making a mess but everytime I grab a rake my back soon begins to hurt and my hands and wrists start complaining. I did some yard work last Friday and I still haven't recovered completely but I need to go out and do some more today. I didn't use to mind raking but now it's become a chore. My legs get so stiff, I guess from the bending down to pick up the leaves that it hurts to walk. This happens every time.....my body don't get used to the exercise. Is that the lupus? I guess it is, huh. Whoa.......I'm beginning to sound like I'm whining.......can't have that! At least I can spend time outside in the sun (a lot of people here can't do that) and I have my three dogs with me to keep me company when I'm working outside. My dogs love it when I spend anytime outside!

Thanks Karol. I'm just impatient. I love my flowers and I'm a golfer. I'm real anxious to see if I'm going to be able to play this year. My range of motion has really gone down hill. I couldn't do much in the flower beds last year so there will be a lot of work this year. Hubby is no longer working so hopefully he will help me. barb
