Guest guest
Deanna, Well, I AM breathing a bit easier since I started taking Maxzide every night, instead of once or twice a week. I didn't have any obvious swelling in my legs or ankles, but I guess it all settled around my heart and lungs, and the difficulty breathing caused my heart to start enlarging in order to get enough oxygen. So, here I sit, er, well, sort of, as I have to get up every hour to pee. NOW my ankles are swelling. Very weird. I sure hope they find the source of infection in you. If you are spiking a fever after noon, it is usually an indication of a virus, rather than bacterial infection. A sort of steady, low grade fever that lasts for days is more usual for bacteria based infection. Have they tried you on Acyclovir? It's what they gave me for Bell's Palsy, which is believed to be caused by the same Herpes Simplex Virus as Shingles and Chicken Pox. At any rate, my face was back to normal in four weeks, as opposed to not treating the virus and having it last two months or more, and come back on you periodically. I haven't had (Knock on wood) a repeat bout with Bell's in seven years. Well, kiddo, I sure hope you start feeling better soon. At least one of us needs to be there to help the Brat get through the days. LOL Love you, MM
