BRENDA & an update on me

BRENDA - TAKE ME WITH YOU PLEASE..............

I am trying to rest, I put a call into pcp's office to let them know

what took place yesterday. I mean seems like everyday after 3pm I

start getting the chills and then the fever starts, and then climbs -

yesterday the fever only got up to 103.1 and broke after 8pm.

I had to do blood work, and of course the fun culture thing ya know

where they take blood out of each arm and fill those lovely bottles

(2 per arm) and see what grows in the next week.

Wont have those results for awhile but he did order other blood work

and since they are busy they will call me back when they can.

One reason why I refuse to go to the ER is because there is

absolutely nothing they can do - I mean what give me IV's and then as

soon as fever breaks they send me home - Why pay for something I can

do at home. I mean all the necessary blood work was done and now its

just a waiting game.

During the day I am fine - its after 3- 3:30pm that I start getting

the chills and then the lovely fever.

Apparently everyone thinks an infection is going on inside my body

somewhere but where is the million dollar question, and until we

know, we can't really treat it - (another reason why NOT to go to ER)

Well going to go make some phone calls and have a cigarette =)

YEP all this crap made me take smoking back up - man I can't even get

past a week of quiting- not like I haven't tried...

PCP asked me why I started back up - my exact words " Cuz my lupies

board is driving me banana's " he looked at me, looked over at Mike -

and both of them shook their heads and said - always an excuse!

" I told both of em' you both can kiss my ass too - you have taken my

life away and now u want to take away the only thing that actually

helps calm me down - jeez what more do you want from me "

My pcp loves how ummm verbally open I am - hehehehehe

Gotta love me =)
