Karol WTF - Major vent Let me apologize for what I am about to say before hand.What the hell is going on? All this crap and controversey over a stupid freaking movie! I don't think I ask much of everyone to please refrain from speaking about politics, and religious beliefs. I mean DO I???We are all freakin sick here, we are all suppose to be here to support one another, etc. I mean Jesus we are a family.NO ONE BUT US KNOWS WHAT IS IT LIKE TO BE SICKENED WITH THE FREAKIN DISEASE AND THE REST OF THE HEALTH AILMENTS THAT COME ALONG WITH IT.I HAVE 99% of the moderators out sick, plus I AM HIDING and fighting Mike from being admitted into the hosp so that I can try to be here. Guest guest Posted March 5, 2004 Report Share Posted March 5, 2004 Mojo, I agree with you one hundred percent. This group has FAR fewer incidents of this type that the other one that I belong to. We go off topic, most groups wont let you. We know all about each others families, friends, pets and knowing those things helps us to cheer that person up when they are down. I myself will miss Trudy terribly and thought that she may not have been able to use her computer at the time that the subject of the movie was banned. I myself appreciate the band. It keeps me from hearing all about one woman on my other groups wicca beliefs and how she is teaching them to her children. Some people probably don't agree with our being Baptist, it's just a touchy subject. When we lose members that we care about it hurts a lot. Especially one that has been here a long time and we have seen her through some difficult times. No ones freedom of speech has been violated. This is a privately owned group. It's just like as if Deanna invited us in to her home and we came. There would have to be rules in her home. This is the same thing, we are all invited in and therefore once we choose to stay, we should be respectful and follow the rules set up, not to just be bossy, but to avoid the conflicts that plague other groups. ERICA a I don't think that ANYONE has said that anything takes precidence over anyone. Especially Deanna. We all think the world of her and if you have read all of the posts, there have been nothing but support of her personally. Some people just did not agree with the rules. If that's the case and they can't play by her's in her sandbox. then they need to go get their own and make different rules there. Here it belongs to Deanna.
