Guest guest
Hi Kasey- We use a lot of oil in my little guy's meal plans as we don't use heavy cream or mayo. We use canola, olive and sunflower or safflower oils a lot. Less frequently, we use coconut (a saturated oil) or flax. If you choose to use flax - my suggestion would be to start out slow (like 1g./meal) and work your way up if Denis handles it. It has a reputation for boosting ketones and is VERY heart healthy. I just ordered hemp oil as it has a good balance of omega 3/6 and since we can't use the fish oil (due to the borage oil in it) I would like to try it out but honestly, I haven't tried it yet. Hope this helps! (mom to - nearly 3yrs. old - ketokid since 6/03 - med free since 3/04 - working on the seizure free part but getting close) --- kcv kcvannett@...> wrote: > > Can somebody help me out with some advice about > oils.
