Dear

When I began pricing it out, I saw there are two kinds of NOW brand ones - one

is vegetarian and only about $17 for 100 from a Health Food Store that sells

over ebay. The other one they sell is about $29......plus about $6 for shipping

- one dollar more for each additional item. They sell the stevia I use, too, at

a far better price than in town, and they are a regular business in Florida, so

I am thinking of ordering from them, probably several things to take advantage

of the good shipping price for multiple items.

So is vegetarian so different from the regular? I will be interested in the

responses you get, as would like to try it with .

Thanks...

Hi guys

Just catching up here - was wondering what your

thoughts were in regards to the NOW brand of carnosine

vs. Dr. Chez's Carn-aware. I believe both of you have

tried both and didn't know if either of you had a

preference one over the other.

has been on Carn-Aware for 6 months or so - due

to the price - I was thinking of switching to the NOW

brand if there are no obvious differences.

What do you think??

THANKS a million!

We wer on the Carn Aware for about 18 mos and switched to the NOW brand and

have not noticed any difference. Dr. Chez even told us it was fine. Its a

nice break in price! Whew that stuff is expensive.

Lots of luck

We have seen absoloutely no difference btn the two (other than price :)

But we do add Vit E to the NOW brand - she gets the carnosine twice per

day and each time she gets an additional 400 IU of Vit E

That's great news! I'll definitely do the same. How

much additional vit. E do you think a 3 yr. old would

get? Does the NOW brand of Carnosine come in different

mg. dosages? Actually, I can look that up - but given

takes 3 capsules of the Carn-Aware - how much

of the carnosine do you think I should give??

mentioned something about a vegetarian version?

Any thoughts?

THANKS, - I'm really excited about the price

difference.

The other

Well I would look at how much he is getting in the CarnAware and go by

that

Not sure.....look at iberb.com and see. I use the 500 mg capsules

Was the CarnAware 500 mg? Nope, I remember now they were a different

dosage because I had to play around a bit when we swtiched brands.

Anyway we started Jess off at 1200 mg of CarnAware on Dr Chez'

recommendation. This past Jan we upped it to 2500 mg per day, using a

combination of CarnAware and the NOW brand. Then we swtiched to just the

NOW brand. At 3 capules, how many mg per day is that for ??

No...........the ingredients in what we use is carnosine cellulose,

magnesium stearate and silica. I don't see anything non-vegetarian in

there, do you?? So am I using a vegetarian version or........geuss I

would want to know the ingredients of the other version
