Guest guest
By the way, Clanthompson says the manufacturer could NOT confirm it is gluten free......Mimi Donna (MO) wrote: Amy, I'm on Prilosec, and my doctor knows I have to stay on things that are GF, so I say yes, it's GF. Guest guest
Mimi, The Prilosec isn't hurting me, and I'm taking double of the regular dosage, due to that's what my doctor wants me to do, and it does help me. I have to eat an half hour after I take the medication, so it'll kick in. I was worst before going on it. Guest guest
True, but it's not bothered me, if anything it's helped. You'd think if it had Gluten in it, we'd have problems with it. Wish we knew for sure if it was GF. Guest guest
Yes, Prilosec is GF. I've been taking it for over a year now, and I wouldn't have put it in my mouth if it wasn't GF. I verified it with the manufacturer either at their website or by phone (I don't recall which). Hope it helps you feel better. > > Does anyone happen to know if Prilosec is GF? Guest guest
, Thank you for letting us know. My doctor knows I have to stay off of Gluten, this was another indication that I knew it had to be GF, but I'm glad you did more of a research to make sure. Some doctors know we have to remain GF, and sometimes that just doesn't matter to them. I did check online to see if all the meds I'm on are GF, and they are. I forgot which site it was that had GF medications on it, but it's good information to know.
