Guest guest
Chippy, Unfortunately, as Lupus gets a firmer hold on us, and if we have been on steroid therapy, especially, our bones lose density, and our connective tissues weaken. This means that the same movement that never bothered us before, now can make us hurt, sometimes injure us, too. So, it is always best to try littler loads, stretch the muscles BEFORE lifting anything, and remember, this is a new way to live and move...it takes practice. Keep us posted on how you do, 'k? We love you, and want you to feel as good as you can. If the pain comes when you are NOT moving or lifting, you may need to get your kidney function tested...not a bad idea, anyway. Loving hugs, MM
