Do you know what is causing it? Are your kidneys compromised? or your

liver? Either way, increasing your water intake will help to flush

the body of toxins which may be causing the itching.

The reason the itching is so intense is because it is the nerve

endings that are being affected.

So .. to lessen the itching you need to apply or take internally

something that affects nerves.

Benadryl cream may help as well as corticosteroid cream. Be careful

about applying these over a large area, remember that it is absorbed

through the skin, so if taking Benadryl capsules makes you sleepy, so

will the cream if you put it over a large area of skin.

Do you have any xanax or valium? Xanax is what helps me the most. If

not, Benadryl capsules may help. They are over the counter and are

what I used before I had xanax.

This is one thing you need to ask your doctor about as the itching

may indicate some problems are brewing with your kidneys or liver. Or

it may be caused by something as simple as a new soap.

Good luck ..

I hate that intense itching as well!
