Wow, !

gets the dry stevia in things all the time. Never had any problem, but if

the info says don't use it, DON'T. When I went looking for stevia at the local

health food store there was a big variety of choices. I cannot remember what

had been listed on the label, but this one was the only one I felt comfortable

with. However, I think one of the liquid ones would have been okay. I think it

just had the same stuff as flavorings have in them - alcohol, maybe?

If you have a health food store I would suggest going and taking some time to

see what they have, even writing down things you are uncertain about. Also,

there are 800 numbers on the bottles that you can call before you buy. It may

take a trip or two, but it is nice to have a decent sweetener to us. We live in

a small city, but it was readily available here, so it is out there!

Hope this helps.........

I was wondering if someone could give me info on Stevia? We have

used the powdered form of stevia for a long time now with Adrielle,

but was told that it could not be used on the diet. They said that

anything made into a powdered form has carbs in it. Even though it

says 0 carbs on the label I was told that they just weren't listing

the carb amount because it is less than 1 gram.

In my welcome email it said that a lot of parents on this list use

stevia. So is there a liquid form, or is the person I'm talking to

just not informed enough?? I've never seen a liquid form where I

purchase it.

thanks for the help!
