Guest guest
-Hi Becky and thanks for your response. Yes I have a rheumie, but I am not all that thrilled with him. He was requested to me by my immunologist ( they r pals ), anyway, before my 1st visit with him my immune guy was suppose to write him a letter to be read before I was seen, evidently he did not get that letter until after I was seen. He didn't seem very interested in me and actually said " I think u JUST have fibro..not lupus " I asked if he had had a chance to see all my lab work and he actually said ...no. What is wrong with these doctors. I come prepared and on time for all my many appointments, I just felt like I was taking up his much too valuable time. I see a new doctor on Friday and I will have a heart to heart talk with him....I'm done. Completly emotionally and physically wiped out. I am lucky enough to be able to go to one of the top 3 hospitals in the nation here in Boston, where do I go from here. I know it will be a looney bin if someone doesn't help me...I just can't go on like this, I will not give up and I will share with my new doc what I just shared with u, hopefully he takes some compassion with me and understands...we'll see. Believe me, I will post a big happy note when and if I get the help I need. I also take Ambien and it works great, but now my insurance will only pay for 10 pills a month, they are 10mg, so now I cut them in half and hope for the best...Well, its 115 in the am now, so its not working yet :-) Anyway, thanks for caring and listening to me go on and on, Hugs, Pam-- In LUPIES , Becky Ellington <b.ellington@i...> wrote: > Hi Pam, > > Have you seen a Rhuematologist? I don't know about where you live, but here I pay 20 dollars for a full month, so if you were paying for 15 days, you might not have to pay too much. Unless you already checked and it's more expensive there. I can not imagine not having the 10 mgs a night. I tried cutting it in half and for two nights it went okay and then the third one I got not one minute of sleep all night. a C
Guest guest
-Yes, the Ambien is great huh. It will cost me another 78.00 if I want the remaining 20 from my script. That is a lot of money for me to come up with right now. I don't know what else I can cut back on...just my computer and I know I would go insane without all u wonderful people out there. I'll figure something out. I hear meds are a lot cheaper at wholesale clubs. I have a BJ's not too fasr from here ( I live in Gloucester, Ma. ) Perhaps I will give them a call. Thanks for your advice! Gentle hugs to you, Pam-- In LUPIES , azToy2@a... wrote: > In a message dated 2/27/2004 5:55:50 AM Central Standard Time, > imnrn@v... writes: > > > . I could not afford that much either and no, we deffinately do not want you to give up your computer! Do you live close to Canada or Mexico? I have heard a lot of people go across the border to get meds or even to the mail in stuff but I don't know if Ambien is one you can get that way. My dr gave me samples once, I wonder if you could do that every once in awhile? a C
