Guest guest Posted February 21, 2004 Report Share Posted February 21, 2004 Hello from Trudy's brother in law just to tell you that Trudy is finally getting over the bad bout of the Flu bug. Although she had her shot, it decided to invade her body after all. She also had a case of pneumonia. The doctor's didn't think so but, with my experience of having it several times, we all think she did. I don't know much about the disease Lupus but, I know when she or one of you gets ill, the immune system is so poor, it takes longer to get well. She misses all of you terribly and, wanted me to give you hugs for her. As I told you before, the beginning of the month was very hard on her and, my wife and, myself are trying to get her into some kind of counseling. Although it will be three years this coming July 11th when she lost my brother and, her husband Cris, she hurts for him every day it seems. Pardon my French but, on the outside she puts on a show and, tries to act as nothing is wrong but, on the inside, she is still hurting like Hell. To some people she isn't close too cannot tell but, the family can. We can see it in her eyes. All one of us have to do is to bring up his name and, unmistakingly, the hurt shows. Of course, she talks about him constantly and, we never stop her from doing so for he was our family too. She almost joined a church here locally and, she seemed to enjoy it than all of a sudden she quit and, she would say why.
