Guest guest
Pam, I know EXACTLY what you are feeling. My husband and I tried for seven years and had miscarriages as well. We did decide to adopt and started with older kids because we wanted to take kids that no one else would adopt and try to help them become productive people. I must tell you that the emotions that we had the first time that we saw him were awesome. We could not love him more if we had given birth to him. In fact, it was such a wonderful experience that we did it again 9 months later and again after that 6 months later and the again about a year later and now we have three foster kids that we are trying desperately to adopt. We also felt like God had just different plans for us then we had for ourselves and when we were just getting started, that was a hard pill so swallow but I just have to tell you that adoption for us has been a powerful experience and if we could have biological children now but had to give back these kids, I wouldn't do it not even for a million dollars. Anyway, I just want you to know that I understand that you want a biological child but if that doesn't work out, there are hundreds and hundreds of kids all ages and races and personality types that can be matched to your family. a C
