Guest guest Posted February 20, 2004 Report Share Posted February 20, 2004 *waves to everyone* Well my bad luck has hit again everyone. 5 months before my statute of limitations is up, my lawyer backs out on me. Yep, you heard me. His partners feel my case is too high of a business risk, and that it isnt a good business decision to continue representing me since my case is prolly only worth $500,000 since I can live a normal (what joke huh?) life with one and the likilyhood that my other one will fail is slim (now they are mind readers?). So now I have 5 months to find another attorney and HOPE someone will take me. Feelin REAL low, because it looks like this doctor who caused me close to three years of hell, caused me a kidney, and my health will get away with it. Since for some reason $500,000 is not enough money for the attorney, its too small of a case, I am now going to have to scramble to find an attorney. Then after all this news, I come home from school last night and has been laid off yet again. Lord I just wish he didnt think I could handle so much sometimes. Well that's my lil update.
