Guest guest
Has your dad ever had his PSA levels done? I'm sure they will do them now. My dad had prostate cancer. They removed his and he has been doing good. His levels are starting to increase again and they are keeping an eye on it. But he went 6 years cancer free. I'm glad your dad is home. That has to be a huge relief on all of you.
Guest guest
Mac, my husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer four years ago. Strange thing was that his PSA was in the normal range at .05. PSA is a good indicator but it's not always reliable. We were very lucky his cancer was found at all! Our PCM, who happened to be a nurse practitioner, felt the tiniest lump during a digital exam. We go to Pensacola this Tuesday for a six month checkup. They always check the PSA but we don't feel it's very dependable in our case. Karol Romie Has your dad ever had his PSA levels done? I'm sure they will do them now. My dad had prostate cancer.
