Guest guest
I feel as if I know you just a little bit, I've been reading most of the posts for a while. I'm new to the diet and don't know too much about it. Lily started on March 17, 2004. She turned 3 on August 17. Our nice interlude is over, she had a fairly strong seizure this morning, necessitating the Diastat. So, now we'll start counting again and hoping for more seizure free periods. I'm sure the diet is helping on this. The most we had since they started (delayed start at 18 months after bacterial meningitis at 1 month) and were identified was 5-6 days, mostly 3-4 days. She seems to be having good periods and rough periods. I'm trying to keep track, but haven't noticed any real patterns. Her meds are really low now and don't make her so sleepy. I'd love for her to be off them, but maybe she needs just a little. Too soon to tell. Hope Kristan is doing well! Take care, Caitlin
