Guest guest
used to go 'spacey' when using playdough, (I assume he was absorbing the carbs thru his skin, upping his glucose, but I never actually checked that with blood testing at the time) so we stopped him using it for a long time, but then we relented and allowed him to use it again wearing very thin (surgical type) gloves - the OT/physio benefits from it were fairly impressive when explained to us by the hospital therapist, so that clinched it for us. Lately we have eased off on the gloves, and it seems to have no adverse effect on him at all any more, though I still limit it - habit I guess ----- Original Message ----- From: Keto kids cannot eat any kind of playdough, unless it is calculated into their diet/meal plan... in which case they would have to eat it! Even water is measured. . Carlson hermione052003@...> wrote: Does anyone know of a playdough brand or recipe for homade playdoigh that would be safe for the keto diet? I have a student who is on diet who will try to eat the playdough. Thanks ECSE Teacher
