Guest guest
Ok, first I want to say that I am trying to keep up with you guys but you move to fast for me.. hehe.. Sorry if i'm missing people, i'm not doing it purposely! Now, to my question. Kalob is g-tube/oral feeding. We kept the g- tube although he was about ready to have it taken out, because of the diet. Since he has the g-tube, the dietician is using microlipid instead of cream in the majority (90%) of his meals because she feels that it is better. So, to the point. Kalob was throwing up with the microlipid when we ended the diet the last time, that is a big reason we just let it go (long story). Now he is throwing up part of the time when we give it to him again. Does anyone else notice this? Which is really better? Kalob LOVES the cream so i'm considering asking for more meals using that rather than the lipid, but i'm wondering if anyone else has experience with this?? BTW, Kalob is doing so much better! Yesterday he ate 3 full meals and a snack!! Although he did throw up the last meal, but I think it was just because of the microlipid, I am experimenting with ways to give it. Right now I think were gonna do gravitiy drip with water about 1/2 hour after meals, but that's sooo long. You do what you have to eh?
